A unique, flat-bottomed blade is designed with one-inch sides, allowing diggers to pick up (and retain) more dirt with each shovel stroke. These deep sides also lend structural strength and prevent dirt build-up in corners. The four-inch-wide blade is made from 13-gauge steel for unparalleled strength and features a v-angled head for effective penetration into the soil. A sharpened edge shaves the bottom of the trench smooth and prevents damage to installed pipes.
